We, LASC is delighted to be the most active Swim School Training Center, actively certified a lot of swimming instructor in Malaysia.
The program includes of classroom and in-water instruction. In order to maintain consistency among instructors, all are trained in the same methods and teach the same program for each class level.
Our focus is on safety, comfort in the water, and skills. With combined backgrounds in child development and swimming instruction, we understand that lessons need to be developmentally appropriate. The step-by-step process of the program allows parents to clearly monitor their child’s (or their own) progress.
To ensure students’ safety and quality delivered by our center, we continually strive to improve our knowledge and skills by attending training, seminar, conferences and actively staying involved in this aquatic field to ensure an effective and appropriate way of swimming teaching in accordance to the highest standards of the world.
Our AIM is to:
- Promote the benefits and importance of swimming as a life-saving skills for a lifetime
- Provide quality systematic teaching ensuring all our students learn swimming according to their progressive level
- Provide a fun and stress-free environment while they learn
- Develop the standard of swimming teaching and lifesaving to Internationally recognized standard
If you meet the prerequisite below, join us NOW!
- Candidates must be at least 16 years old
- Candidates must pass water skill screening to validate swimming ability at a level appropriate to demonstrate the skills that correspond with the curriculum
- Candidates must complete 80 hours in-house training prior to take part in the course
What will you learn during the course?
Theory Component– Offered through classroom attendance
Practical Component– Involve swimming activities that carried out in shallow and deep water
- Understanding the elementary scientific principles relevant to swimming planning, preparing and teaching swimming
- Understanding the principles of safe and equitable coaching practice
- Learn to respond during emergency situations (CPR & First Aid)
- 20 hours of real teaching experience upon completion (attachment)
